In short, you don’t need to bulk convert all images into WebP. Starting from BerqWP version 1.4.1 and above, all optimizations occur in the cloud using the Photon Engine. With the Photon Engine, there’s no need to manually convert all images into WebP. Our intelligent Photon Engine automatically converts only those images into WebP that are actively used. The rest of the images won’t be optimized, saving a significant amount of disk space.
